Storing flammable liquids requires strict safety measures to prevent serious environmental and fire damage. Flammable liquids can give off enough vapor to form volatile mixtures with air. Explosion protection measures must, therefore, also be considered. Our chemical storage buildings are designed to minimize the risk in your workplace; the Fire-rated racking storage building is now available in various small, medium, and large fire-rated storages for drums and IBC. The single or double-tiered designs will keep dangerous chemicals well organized and correctly separated.
RFP – The first choice for safe chemical storage

Compliant with US standards
- FM Approval 6049 has been granted for the Rack Fire Protect (RFP) system in non-occupancy buildings, certifying its fire resistance for up to 2 hours.
- The globally esteemed FM Approved mark is widely acknowledged and esteemed. It is bestowed by FM Approvals, a prominent international authority in third-party evaluation and certification procedures for property loss prevention products designed for use in commercial and industrial establishments. This mark attests to the adherence of these products to stringent quality, technical soundness, and performance standards in the realm of loss prevention. FM Approved stands as the gold standard in global certification for loss prevention.
- Complies with the regulations of NFPA (fire protection), OSHA (occupational safety), and EPA (environmental protection, specifically EPA-CFR 40).

Rugged Construction

- Fireproof, 150 mm mineral wool panels (A class material, non-combustible) with high insulation properties.
- Double frame construction for 2-hour fire protection from inside and outside: No significant temperature increase on the outside in the event of a fire inside.
- Base made of hot-dip galvanized steel.
- Long-lasting corrosion protection with the use of fully galvannealed panelized construction and high-quality Durathane paint.
- Welded/Painted/Tested, one-piece sump meets FM standard (25% capacity rule).

Technical ventilation

The control technology is optimally matched to DENIOS chemical buildings. It triggers an optical and acoustic alarm in case of a deviation in measured data. In addition, automatic locking or extinguishing systems are activated, for example. All information is on the operating and display elements presented.
Comfort control
Modern touch panels/displays for indoor or outdoor use are easily used.
Dry Chem systems
Dry Chemical systems provide extra safety in containers used to store flammable and non-flammable substances. DENIOS offers a wet or dry system.
smoke detectors
DENIOS fire detectors are equipped with approved multi-sensors that detect smoke and fire quickly and reliably.
If explosion protection is needed according to your assessment, we offer built-in components representing a source of sparks in an appropriate Ex version. Earthing devices (e.g., earthing rail) are optionally available for equipotential bonding.

For interior grounding. Provides the necessary equipotential bonding with an external pin as a connection.
